Nutritional
therapy is a complementary therapy which uses food, supplements
and lifestyle changes to boost the body's own healing mechanisms.
An individual programme is devised based on an analysis of syptoms,
diet and lifestyle. It may be helpful for a wide range of health
issues and is suitable for children as well as adults.

What
can I expect from a consultation?
When
you arrange the consultation, you will be asked to fill in a
detailed questionnaire, giving details of any health issues
you have as well as details of your diet and lifestyle. The
inital consultation lasts approximately 1 hour during which
you will discuss many aspects of your well-being including specific
health issues, digestion, eating habits, energy levels, exercise
and work patterns. A personalised plan is then put together
comprising changes to diet, nutrtional supplement programme
and lifestyle recommendations. Laboratory tests may be recommended,
if appropriate.
A
date to review your programme will be set: this is usually 4
- 6 weeks after the initial appointment.
