Swedish Massage

Massage is one of the oldest forms of therapy; it is a system of kneading, stroking and pressing different parts of the body. It can relieve pain, stimulate, relax and tone.

If you want to wind down at the end of a long day, if you are feeling nervous or tense about a pending appointment, or want to get yourself ready for that special day or evening. A massage promotes relaxation as well as easing anxiety, sharpening senses and leaving your skin looking naturally radiant and glowing. Regular massage makes you look and feel years younger with softer, healthier skin.

Our therapists practising Swedish Massage are Natasha Joels, and Janelle Taege

Swedish Massage works by applying deep pressure to muscles and bones and by rubbing concurrently with the circulation towards the heart. It is a bodywork that has many health benefits. It is specifically designed to relax muscles; enhance oxygen flow in the blood; get rid of toxins, stretch the ligaments and tendons, stimulate the skin and nervous system and soothe the nerves themselves at the same time.

It reduces stress, both emotional and physical, and is suggested in a regular program for stress management. It also has many specific medical uses. An effective therapy which helps in overall wellbeing, Swedish Massage is not only relaxing but invigorating as well, while promoting health and wellbeing.

Please ask if you would like to us to use crystals or reiki as part of your treatment.
